Architect: Brian Viehland, Design on the Square Owner: Private Residence Location: Hopewell, NJ
This mid century ranch had all the property the new owners wanted, but none of the charm. They wanted a more craftsman feel to the home. To accomplish that, a new front porch was added with stone column bases and square posts. Two new dormers were put onto the roof and two new gable ends were constructed over the garage and bedroom wing. Finally, the whole house was wrapped in new siding in two patterns.

In addition to the facade, several internal walls were removed and a porch was enclosed to create an extremely open concept feeling inside with views out to the back yard.
